The collection and processing of Personal Data is intended to send communications, by post, regarding EBS Centre products, services and/or events, so the acquisition and/or completion of the forms corresponding to this purpose corresponds to the express and prior consent to the processing of the Personal Data provided.


If the user expressly and previously consents to the processing of his Personal Data (consent that may, at any time, be withdrawn - see number 5 below), EBS Centre undertakes to process Personal Data to the extent and for the time necessary to continue the Purposes.


In this sense, EBS I&D Centre (EBS Inclusion and Diversity Centre) does not request, or encourage in any place the sending of personal data relating to philosophical or political convictions, party or trade union affiliation, religious faith, private life and racial or ethnic origin, as well as the processing of data relating to health and sex life, including genetic data, so if you provide them to EBS Centre, it cannot be held responsible for its treatment under the Privacy Policy.


Without prejudice to other forms of contact with EBS Centre, the non-provision of Personal Data by the user prevents EBS Centre from considering it for the purpose of sending out communications.


4. Preservation of Personal Data


Personal Data processed for the purpose of sending communications regarding new EBS Centre collections will be kept in the EBS Centre's database for as long as its relationship with the holder lasts and as long as it is bound by legal imposition.


5. Right of access, rectification, erasure, limitation of processing and right of portability of Personal Data


The user is guaranteed, at any time, the right of access to his Personal Data, as well as its rectification, erasure, portability, limitation and/or opposition to processing - in this sense, he may exercise any of these rights by writing to EBS Centre, using the address of the headquarters or through the following email info@ebscentre.org.
Without prejudice to the above, the user will always have the right to submit the complaints he deems to the authority competent for this purpose.

6. Security in the Processing of Personal Data

Personal Data will be processed and stored electronically and on paper when applicable.

EBS I&D Centre (EBS Inclusion and Diversity Centre) is committed to ensuring the security and protection of the Personal Data it sends us through the website, having adopted the appropriate technical and organizational measures for this purpose, such as protection with passwords and firewalls. EBS Centre informs that these security measures are reviewed and updated according to the needs and state of the art in these matters.


If, for any reason, there is a breach of security that causes, accidentally or unlawfully, the destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorized access to Personal Data, EBS Centre will communicate without justified delay and, whenever possible, up to 72 hours after becoming aware of it and in accordance with applicable legislation, this fact to the competent authorities. Likewise, EBS Centre communicates the violation of Personal Data to the respective holder of the Personal Data, in accordance with applicable legislation.


Notwithstanding the security measures adopted by EBS Centre, we warn users that they should adopt additional security measures, namely, ensuring the existence of an active firewall, periodically change the personal passwords and check any updates on both antivirus and anti-spyware tools, whichever applies.


7. Communication of Personal Data to Third Parties


EBS I&D Centre (EBS Inclusion and Diversity Centre), within the scope of its activity, may use third parties for the provision of certain services. Such third parties may be located inside or outside the European Union. Sometimes, the provision of these services implies access by these entities to users' personal data.


When this happens, EBS Centre takes appropriate measures to ensure that the entities that have access to Personal Data are reputed and offer high guarantees at this level, which will be duly enshrined and safeguarded in a contract to be concluded, in writing, between EBS Centre and the third party(ies).


Thus, any entity subcontracted by EBS Centre will treat the Personal Data of users, in the name and on behalf of EBS Centre in the obligation to adopt the necessary technical and organizational measures in order to protect the Personal Data against destruction, accidental or unlawful, accidental loss, alteration, dissemination or unauthorized access and against any other form of illicit processing.


In any case, EBS I&D Centre (EBS Inclusion and Diversity Centre) remains responsible for the processing of Personal Data.
